In fact, MFI has conceived an ambitious direct
marketing initiative for promoting the music of
the film in the top 11 cities using the database
that it has collected over the last one year through
its offline and online newsletters on the Bollywood
film industry.
Speaking on the occasion of the grand music launch
of Dreams, producer-director Aashish
Chanana (also CEO, MFI) said, Since my film
is an intensely romantic saga full of life, the
musical score marks the return of rhythm and melody
to Bollywood screens. With their memorable compositions
in Dreams, music directors Sajid-Wajid
have proved their exceptional talent and wide
repertoire. The backing of Venus Records is an
icing on cake and industry veteran, Champak Jain,
is confident that the music is going to create
waves. The mind-blowing music lends perfect support
to the narrative of the film, which encompasses
the travails of a ordinary girl, who
learns to dream and makes it big in the world
of glamour with the help of a brilliant film director
against the backdrop of love and relationship.
Music director Sajid added, This project,
Dreams, provided the right impetus
for us to come up with something very different
and Aashish was very supportive in giving us a
free hand. The title track of the film, Kaise
Kate, sung by Shaan and Sunidhi has been
lovingly shot in the exotic locales of Thailand.
Other songs have been picturised in Switzerland
and virgin locations in India. In fact, Aashish
understands our music and has done full justice
in portraying our compositions exactly the way
we envisaged them while composing.
The Dreams music launch party witnessed
a glittering galaxy of celebrities, socialites
and eminent personalities from the media and entertainment
world Dreams starcast comprising
Neha Pendse, Aarzoo Govitrikar and Monoj Bidwai;
fashion designers Neeta Lulla and Manish Malhotra;
Bollywood directors Ken Ghosh; photographers Subi
Samuel and Jagdish Maali; Sony Entertainments
CEO Kunal Das Gupta; Bollywood actors Gulshan
Grover, Gurdeep Kohli, and Adita Panscholi amongst
others.
The music of Dreams is an embodiment
of everyones ardent desires and fantasies.
The film will release in the first quarter of
calendar 2005 but the music promos are already
on air in all the leading mass entertainment television
channels since December 2004 onwards.
